Position Objectives

This position will be responsible for implementing Lean principles across the Roermond (later also Monheim) operational production plants. The role focuses on identifying and reducing waste, enhancing workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ultimately increasing productivity.

Main Tasks

  • Implement Lean concepts like 5S, Gemba walks, and structured shopfloor meetings.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and waste elimination through process mapping and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive measurable process improvements and use digital tools to monitor, analyze, and enhance decision-making for Lean initiatives.
  • Lead operational excellence projects and align Lean initiatives with sustainability goals, including energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction.
  • Establish Lean and Agile practices and Lead change management to ensure sustainable adoption of Lean practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive Lean training sessions and demonstrate Lean principles in daily operations to build capability and understanding.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for initiatives.

Your Profile

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent education.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills to inspire and engage teams at all levels.
  • Min 3 years experience in implementing and leading Lean change management initiatives within a production environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Lean tools and methodologies, as well as data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German or Dutch) are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and cultural competence.
